This error can drive you crazy. It’s a security feature, to prevent people from leaving themselves logged in to PHPMyAdmin from a public computer.
Getting rid of this error is fairly simple however, just add this line to the end of the “config.inc.php” in your PHPMyAdmin directory:
$cfg['LoginCookieValidity'] = 60 * 60 * 8;
This will set the timeout to 8 hours, instead of 1440 seconds (24 minutes).
